Android 2.1 update released for AT&T Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 smartphone

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Smartphone Just a while back, we reported an article when Sony Ericsson released a software update for its Xperia arc and Xperia Play smartphones. The Sony Ericsson product blog now highlights that the AT&T Xperia X10 smartphone can now be upgraded to the Android 2.1 operating system.

Users can seamlessly capture 720p HD videos without any hindrance and enjoy an uninterrupted multi-touch experience. The upgrade delights many with continuous auto-focus in still and video capture. Users can personalize five homescreens with an extensive range of apps from the Android Market.

Users can click sharp images using the integrated 8.1 megapixel camera and upload and share them via Facebook, Picasa and YouTube. Equipped with a 4-inch WVGA 65K-color TFT touchscreen, the handset is driven by a 1GHz Snapdragon 8250 processor and competently functions without any issue. The Xperia X10 weighs just 4.76 ounces and can be easily carried along from one place to another.
