Facebook Inside Xperia

The latest tidbit from Sony Ericsson was about the Xperia Play striding into the Verizon Wireless world through Wirefly. The Sony Ericsson product blog revealed that the Xperia arc and Xperia Play software update adds Facebook inside Xperia to the interface.

Users can encounter the complete Facebook experience by linking, liking and sharing content. The simplicity of use and better connectivity makes it worth a mention. The app’s features work parallel to TimeScape and the Facebook for Android app.

The addition updates the OS to Gingerbread 2.3.3. The software upgrade enables Wi-Fi and software stability. It enhances battery performance and touch responsiveness. It even ensures HD video recording for Xperia arc users and these updates could be delivered OTA directly to the phone or via PC-Companion.

This update will take some time to roll out depending on the location and the customized kit of the phone. Facebook inside Xperia is also expected to reach X10 users soon.
