LG Optimus black coming soon via Orange UK

LG Optimus Black LG’s highly-anticipated Optimus black smartphone has been in news for quite sometime now. For mobile phone enthusiasts biding their time for the same, Orange UK has girded up to announce the feature-rich black version of Optimus through its network.

The sleek LG Optimus comes powered by Google’s Android 2.2 or Froyo OS which is upgradable to Android 2.3 or Gingerbread. It encompasses a 4” LCD capacitive touchscreen display to render brighter graphics. To delight casual gamers, this stylish LG offering includes several Java games and applications.

The phone also integrates a 5 megapixel auto-focus and LED flash-enabled camera for photography enthusiasts to capture and share those candid moments. With its 1GHz processor, the device is capable of proffering over-all better performance. Other basic features provided by the handset include A-GPS support, music player, microUSB v2.0, music player and video calling.

As of now, the service provider has not divulged any details on the handset’s availability. However, there’s possibility that the attractive Optimus black will be made available for free on select monthly plans.
