Nokia N00 Prototype C N87

Looks like, today is the day of rumors. After leaked images of the Motorola Olympus and the LG Star, here’s one from Nokia. Apparently, an eBay webpage which seems to be a German one, displays images of a Nokia smartphone. This device is claimed to be the Nokia N00 C Prototype N87 featuring a 12 megapixel camera. It does appear to be the successor of the Nokia N86, as the form-factor is very much the same.

Ostensibly, this device comes with only a wall charger as the seller on eBay said that and we quote, ‘Phone was found in a bar, its unlocked and fully functional!’ (So this person simply walked into the bar and found the handset just lying around.) Coming to the specifications, it is said to have a 12 megapixel camera, which sound powerful.

From what we can see, the supposed N87 also has an alpha-numeric keypad similar to its ancestor. It even appears to fashion Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and a touch sensitive strip which could be used to either zoom or manually focus the images. Those who find the image interesting and intend to pick up the device can head over to the website, but they would have to shell out $ 799.99.
