MTS teams up with Opera Software to offer enhanced mobile browsing experience

MTS, Opera Software Logo Opera Mini claims to be the most liked web browser by over 71 million people. MTS has always fostered on delivering high quality and innovative communication solutions. The company has collaborated with Opera Software to help users effortlessly download Opera Mini on a wide array of handsets from Samsung, ZTE, Haier, Huawei, Micromax and Hisense.

Opera Mini captivates many users since it offers various features from the Opera desktop browser. Owners can enjoy desktop-like web-browsing experience using their handsets. The enticing server-side compression technology lowers data usage by around 90 percent, thereby offering users quick page loading.

The move to provide the facility of downloading Opera Mini software on a range of mobile handsets is bound to significantly enhance the browsing experience of customers on the MTS network,” commented Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing Officer, SSTL.

Recently, MTS Russia offered its subscribers a co-branded version of the software. On downloading the browser, individuals will receive easy access to a customized Opera Mini start page on their phones. The start page sports default bookmarks which provide quick access to music, videos and games.

Users can download the Opera Mini Browser by searching through MY MTS Zone on their devices.
