These apps have been earlier known for their contextualized location-based weather accessibility which is rendered by tapping on map locations. Additionally, it boasts of integrating BlackBerry Maps, Contacts and Calendars as it uses such details to update the weather information for locations, addresses and scheduling.
It endows users with the ability to receive alert notifications for their favorite locations and fashion homescreen icons. Animated weather maps consisting of NWS alerts, Doppler radar, satellite, lightning strikes and temperature are improvised with better interactive imagery. Handset owners can customize the weather condition information to portray relevant climatic details including detailed forecast, hourly forecast, pollen, Doppler radar, live camera images, extended 7-day forecast and today’s conditions.
Moreover, the current information pertaining to the weather conditions is augmented by proffering detailed live observations like wind speed and direction, UV index, temperature, humidity, rain, pressure, sunrise and sunset.
