For those enjoy watching Hollywood movies loaded with mafias, guns, violence and of course sweet revenge might have an enticing game to enthrall them. Here’s the Axion Logic’s ChronosGear 1.01 designed with beautiful graphics from Manga Art for the iPhone. This game is an enticing role playing title with addictive match-3 strategy.

In the game, players step into the shoes of Starck who has been adopted by Amici. Starck is now a lieutenant of the Amici Mafia family. Gamers have to take revenge on General Vincenti, who has been Amici’s enemy for a long time. The general has taken down most of the Amici family hence vengeance is necessary to set the count right. All is not as easy as it sounds since gamers will have to travel back in time to assassinate Vincenti before he gains his power.

It is done up with amazing visual skill effects for each one of the units, which have been divided into four classes namely Core, Greater, Hero and Ultimate. Furthermore, this title features hand drawn Manga-Style cut scenes coupled with characters portraits. Gamers will enjoy the game when they progress in the story mode, wherein soon the hero and enemy’s units are unlocked. Thus, it can be played with a two-player mode. In fact when they manage to complete the game, users can unlock the final boss.

This title’s battlefield has been divided into two sections where the top is the enemy and at the bottom are the players. Players have to cross enemy territory and enter the Soul Zone. If they attack this zone the enemy’s soul weakens. In order to attack, gamers can vertically match 3 Core Units of the same color. When they match them horizontally, players can build a wall to defend against their enemy’s attack.

On matching 2 identical Core Units with a Hero, gaming aficionados can create a basic Hero Unit attack. Whereas if they manage to match their color with that of a Soul Card, the Hero Units will strike fear in the enemy’s heart with the help of a fatal Soul Skill Attack. The game takes up 14.7 MB of memory and works on iPhone OS 3.0 or higher.
