We’ve seen a spur of iPhone applications that eventually amplify the user experience. MiniMonos reveals its own application for iPhone devices that looks at augmenting users’ mobile gaming encounter. Through its gameplay, users can dive into the world of clouds and experience different levels of modes.
The prime aim of players is to collect maximum wind clouds by portraying the character of a flying monkey. They are then required to avoid compiling the energy-sapping pollution clouds on their way by tilting their devices left and right. On decreasing energy levels, users can land on a trampoline which will enable them to bounce back.
Greg Montgomery, MiniMonos’ Chief Technical Officer, commented, “We had a great time adapting MiniMonos Flight to the iPhone. It’s quite gratifying to fly in the game by physically moving the device.”
The application enables users to post their scored banana chips on their minimonos.com account. The company claims that around 32,000 children from over 150 countries have registered to the virtual world. In the near future, they will also update and introduce new applications which will be based on new games like R.A.T.S. (Recycle All This Stuff), Go Go Green and Monkey Fist.
The MiniMonos Flight application can be grabbed for $1.99 through iTunes. It has reportedly already crossed the 32,000 member mark.
