MicaRed OverTheAir App brings new attributes with version 1.3

Professionals these days have almost replaced their desktops with their smartphones, as these handsets can do a number of tasks while on the go. These activities include web access, editing documents or pre-viewing PowerPoint presentations. MicaRed attempts to leverage on this functionality of smartphones by offering an upgraded version 1.3 of the OverTheAir iPhone application.

The application claims to be a simple to use WebDAV client. This version offers the ability to add a passcode lock support, wherein users will have to add-in the 4 digit numeric passcode for better security. It also enables them to export files on other applications and now even renders support to Dropbox.

Taniguchi, the president of MicaRed, stated “This upgrade, which users can access to Dropbox, allows us to provide the best solution for our customers. It’s a perfect solution for those who wish to consolidate multiple online storages (i.e. Dropbox and Mobile Me iDisk) into a single interface, or those who wish to access Dropbox and corporate servers for businesses.”

The OverTheAir app supports several file formats like Microsoft Office and Apple iWork documents, PDF, HTML, TXT, and much more. The software can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store under the category of productivity. The MicaRed OverTheAir app version 1.3 is available for free and occupies 2.8MB of space.
