AT&T U-Verse iPhoneMobile buffs finding it difficult to catch up their favorite programs due to work or studies can now heave a sigh of relief. Well, AT&T unveils the U-verse Mobile Application for iPhone. This application seamlessly allows AT&T customers to view as well as download TV programs anywhere and anytime right on their devices.

Claimed to be the first TV provider to offer DVR Management, this application manages both downloading and watching of TV shows simultaneously. By replacing the Mobile Remote Access application, this tool allows users to browse the U-verse TV program guide, view program descriptions, schedule and manage the DVR recordings. Mobile enthusiasts can download the available episodes virtually from anywhere through the Wi-Fi connection and further watch them on the huge screens of their handsets.

David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, explained, “We’re making it possible for you to watch TV shows on your iPhone at no extra charge. It’s just one more valuable and innovative feature available on U-verse TV. Our U-verse multi-screen promise is now a reality for millions of U-verse TV customers, with content available on U-verse TV, U-verse Online, and today, U-verse Mobile. No cable provider comes close to matching the cross-platform experience we’re delivering today, and we’ll continue to add unique features that further integrate these screens.”

This application is known to be yet another example from AT&T for delivering value to U-verse TV consumers with continued service enhancements and innovative apps. It is also claimed that more than 100,000 U-verse TV consumers are already enjoying the flexibility of remote DVR management and the Web and Mobile Remote Access apps every month. Users can surf or search a portfolio of downloadable programs and further choose a series or a particular episode for downloading. With a database of TV shows from some of the renowned networks, more content is expected to be added on an ongoing basis in the near future.

For the ability to download and view TV content, users are required to subscribe the U300 package or higher. TV packages can be upgraded by the present U-verse consumers anytime from the company’s website. New consumers now have a chance to win a $75 iTunes gift card by just ordering the AT&T U-verse U300 or U450.

The U-verse Mobile application can be downloaded for free through the App store.
