Kobo eReading app now on iPhone 4

Kobo App Facilities these days want to be associated with the newly launched iPhone 4. Even Kobo has decided to proffer its eReading service customized for the latest iPhone 4. The latest announcement by Kobo further entrusts its belief that consumers should be able to read any eBook on any device.

The latest application from Kobo bundles up extra reading format options, automatic syncing, multiple bookmarking and faster navigation. The app and its predecessors, are all connected to the Kobo eBook store that carries over two million titles consisting of best sellers, classics, and thousands of free books. Kobo can also be found on iPad, Android, BlackBerry, netbooks, tablets,the Kobo eReader and other dedicated eReaders.

“Our iPhone application has always been one of our most popular apps and we’re excited for our users to see Kobo on iOS 4,” asserts Michael Serbinis, CEO of Kobo. “Kobo users now have even more flexibility when reading free books and best sellers. It’s all about ensuring that our customers continue to have the best and easiest reading experience on any device.”

The Kobo app takes advantage of the iPhone 4’s unique features such as the novel Retina Display and its Multitasking ability. The app endows users with the ability to read books in their original format as ePubs and it also lets them chose from a variety of font sizes and styles. It also provides effortless and simple navigation, as it allows the user to flip pages and chapters without losing one’s place.

Kobo’s app features a bookmark syncing facility, it instantly syncs a user’s last read page throughout all their Kobo-enabled devices. Thus the feature empowers to begin from where they had left whether it was the iPhone or any other device. It also provides the multiple bookmark function which lets users mark their favorite pages in several books, so that they can easily come back and carry on reading. The application also archives the details of the date and time of the last bookmark.

The Kobo application is available free of cost from their official website or from the App Store. Current Kobo customers can directly download the update on their device.
