Android welcomes Sirius XM app

Sirius XM The Android Market is inundated with a variety of apps for users to choose from. The newest entrant is the Sirius XM app for Android based on the synonymous radio service

The app spoils users with a choice of more than 120 channels offered by Sirius XM Premium Online programming. The broadcasting includes sports, talk shows, news, comedy shows and commercials. Users can avail of free music on their devices via cellular and Wi-Fi networks.

Favorite and frequently used functions can be saved for quick and easy access through Sirius XM Premium Online channels. Users will be able to pacify their inquisitive minds by viewing content being played on other channels as well as the current channel through the Lookaround function provided by the app.

The app is compatible with a host of Android phones, namely, HTC’s Hero, Droid incredible and Droid Eris, Droid and Cliq by Motorola, T-Mobile G1 and Google Nexus One models. Users can now engage with their music even while checking emails or surfing the internet

Users are not charged for downloading the Sirius XM app and are offered a free trial for seven days of Sirius XM premium online subscription.
