Learn English with new iPhone App

Learners of English now have an effective and enjoyable way to hone their language ability. An all-new application by The New York Times, the Learning English, has just stepped in for iPhone users.

Designed for intermediate to advanced English students, the newly released app offers users an excellent opportunity to improve reading and listening skills, and learn new vocabulary. The base pack comes with 12 English lesson plans based on renowned or historical articles from The New York Times.

Each lesson includes – vocabulary flashcards, article reading task, audio for all articles and key words (for pronunciation development), comprehension task, three vocabulary review tasks, a World Bank dictionary (with translation in six major languages).

The Learning English App can now be purchased for $5.99 from Apple’s App Store.
