Yowza!! mobile coupons for this shopping season

The mobile coupons available on the free Yowza!! application come just in time for the holiday shopping season. Yowza!! has now teamed up with new retail partners including Toys R’ Us, Babies R’ Us, Robbins Brothers, Hobby Lobby & ULTA Beauty Stores to bring new deals to users, just in time for holidays. Earlier launched for the iPhone, these coupons are available for Android devices as well.
The innovative mobile couponing application, Yowza!! enables users to search for nearby, participating retailers through zip code or with the handset’s built-in GPS. With the help of the GPS service, users can locate stores in 1, 5, 15, 25 or 50 miles of their vicinity. Once users select an offer, the mobile coupon code or scan-able barcode can be redeemed.
“Consumers are realizing how easy mobile coupons are to use, and how important it is in this economy to find savings wherever they are available,” said Greg Grunberg, Yowza!! co-creator and star of NBC’s Heroes. “Once our users have a taste, they clamor for more savings, and we have answered the call by bringing our new retail partners on board and by making these coupons available to Android users.”
Yowza!! is partnering with WHERE to offer mobile coupons to several Android device users. This service will be available to BlackBerry and Palm Pre users in near future.
According to the recent National Retail Federation study, as compared to the last holiday season, more than 41 percent of US consumers plan to use more coupons this time.
Besides the new retailers, Yowza!! collaborated with top companies from sports, restaurants, shopping centers including Crate and Barrel, CB2, Pier 1 Imports, Loehmann’s, Sports Chalet, Sears Hometown and Hardware Stores, Sports Authority, Finish Line, McDonald’s, The Container Store, Polacheck’s Jewelers, California Closets, Roys, Garrett Popcorn Shops, Avo/Dram, Jackson’s Bar & Bistro, Rumba, Planet Funk, Klingman’s Furniture, Kona Cleaners, Majors Scientific Books, Mindfulnest, and more to bring exclusive deals to consumers this shopping season.
