Nokia offers the updated version of the Nokia Image Exchange for the S60 platform. Besides numerous bug fixes and accelerometer support for 3.2 devices, Nokia has integrated notifications to alert users about the activities related to images and contacts, reveals the Nokia Beta Labs Blog.

Thanks to the new addition, users are now instantly informed about new images from friends belonging to the People menu along with new comments. The updated version comes with new control settings for the notifications.

The update also enhances the way basic connections are made. It incorporates new load balancing architecture to offer enhanced responsiveness to users. The Nokia Image Exchange team is currently examining about the possibilities of a touch UI version of this innovative app.

The updated version of the Nokia Image Exchange is available for download. The version available at the Nokia Ovi store is also updated and can be downloaded for supported devices.
