fring now available for Android

Fring App Android users will be glad to know that fring is now available for the Android platform, reports the fring Blog. It allows users to stay connected and share experiences with their friends and family members across the globe.

fring for Android allows users to chat with their friends through free VoIP calls over Skype, MSN and GoogleTalk and SIP. Users can enjoy live chat on ICQ, Yahoo! and AIM. fring combines all online friends into one, dynamic buddy list, which is always connected on the go.

It allows users to enjoy free calls and instant messaging with all online friends, view their real-time status, and even find actual location. fring makes the mobile phone an ultimate social device.

fring for Android functions over 3G, GPRS and Wi-Fi internet connection. fring comes with certain bugs such as it fails to display GSM contacts in fring’s buddy list on the Motorola Droid. The Droid does not support SIP and SkypeOut calls. Call disconnection tone may be heard a few times while disconnecting a call. These bugs are expected to be fixed in future releases.

fring for Android devices can be downloaded directly from the Android Market.
