Nokia 5800 gets a firmware update

Recently, Nokia released a software 2.0 update for the Nokia N97. And now the company has introduced a firmware update for the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music handset reveals, Mobilewack. This new update is called the version 31.0.101.
The Nokia 5800 version 21.0.101 has now been given a firmware update. This update will incorporate a host of new and advanced features. The update tags along an advanced e-mail application as well as a new and better version of Ovi maps 3.0.
The new firmware promises to deliver an easier navigation experience. Apart from this, it also eliminates many bugs of the earlier version. To download the update, users need to simply type*#0000# onto their phone’s home screen, check for updates and then follow the on-screen prompts until the update is complete.
This latest firmware update is currently available in Asia and Europe. It can be downloaded for free from Nokia’s Software update website. Users can either download it directly from their handset or via the PC.
