Google Maps BlackBerry The new version of Google Maps 3.2 with Layers for Mobile is now available for BlackBerry. The new Google Maps 3.2 for BlackBerry incorporates some features of the version released for Windows Mobile and S60 along with Layers, reports Google Mobile Blog.

With the help of Layers, users can easily access several types of information on maps that proves to be helpful while traveling to a new place. Users can turn on the Wikipedia layer to view information about the nearby places and then utilize the transit layer to decide a relevant route.

Users can also make use of the My Maps feature to make a collection of places they plan to go for a vacation. Google Maps for mobile lets users access their collection anytime, anywhere. With the help of Google Latitude layer, users can view their friends’ location effortlessly.
