T-Mobile has finally revealed the pricing and availability details for the Motorola Cliq. The Cliq is said to be the company’s first Android based handset. T-Mobile had revealed its plans to offer the Motorola Cliq with Motoblur technology earlier this month.
This Android-based handset includes the innovative Motoblur solution that is said to handle communication features like e-mails and social networking activity. Owing to this technology, the handset is capable of providing users with updates from sites like Facebook, Twiter, MySpace as well as Gmail.
“T-Mobile customers text message and access social messaging on mobile devices more than those of any other carrier,” said Wendy Piñero DePencier, vice president of brand marketing, T-Mobile USA. “That’s why we’re excited to give them the first opportunity to purchase the CLIQ, and then in early November offer the CLIQ prominently at T-Mobile stores nationwide in time for the holidays.”
The Cliq flaunts a 3.1-inch QVGA touchscreen display along with a slide-out QWERTY keypad. The handset is 3G enabled and comes equipped with a 2GB microSD card.
The T-Mobile Motorola Cliq will be available for pre-order starting from October 19. The Cliq will bundle up a complementary car charger if ordered between October 19 and November 1. It will be offered to eligible T-Mobile customers for a price of $199.99 (approx. Rs. 9,617) after signing a two-year service agreement.
