Philips Xenium K700

Philips had earlier released the X830 belonging to its Xenium lineup. To revive the Xenium series Philips recently revealed the K700 touchscreen handset.

According to Ubergizmo, analogous to other Philips handsets, even the K700 delivers an amazing 8.5 hours of talktime and around one month of standby time. Reportedly, the Xenium device features a 2.8″ touchscreen TFT LCD with 400 x 240 resolution. It offers GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900MHz connectivity. The handset supports a variety of file formats including RMBV, AVI, FLV, Divx, MP3, WMA, AC, FLAC, and APE.

The K700 also sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and video recording capability. The touchscreen phone packages 48MB internal memory and offers microSD memory card slot for expansion. It features a dedicated GPU and is inclusive of Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 and FM-radio with RDS. It appears that, the device offers 4 hours of video playback and around 25 hours of music playback.

Apparently, the K700 is equipped with 1000mA battery and measures around 101mm x 52mm x 13 mm, weighing 97 grams.

Neither the pricing details nor the launch date has been revealed.
