The Samsung Galaxy Lite i5700 is speculated to be launched soon. However, a recent report states that this Samsung phone would not be launched this year and may be unveiled sometime in the coming year.

According to Mobilewhack, the Samsung Galaxy Lite i5700 will be offered in black/orange and white/green colors. Reportedly, the phone boasts of a huge 3.0-inch WQVGA TFT touchscreen display. The Samsung device supports 3G/HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS and USB 2.0.

The Lite i5700 is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera and an accelerometer. The touchscreen mobile phone is driven by Android OS 1.5 and packages Chrome Lite browser, Google Apps and Android Market. Similar to most of the touchscreen devices, even this handset from Samsung packages Touchwiz UI.

The i5700 offers a whooping 200MB internal memory and can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD memory card. It is inclusive of 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and Wi-Fi. Further, the Samsung Galaxy Lite features MP3 and MPEG4 player.
