Find My iPhone App locates lost or stolen iPhone

Mobile Me Logo MobileMe has introduced the Find My iPhone application which will enable users to locate their Apple handset, according to SocialMedian. This new application will be a solution to the highly common problem of phone loss or theft.

With the growing popularity and demand for mobile phones, there is an insecurity of losing or misplacing the pricey handset. Using the GPS technology, the application locates thieves as well as crooks.

Recently two cases of thefts have been witnessed and both have been taken to court. The first case is of a 15 year old Dustin Simantob of Colorado and the next one is of an undisclosed victim.

This Find My iPhone application by MobileMe, is essential for the safety of the iPhone. This service can be availed for $99 a year after taking up a 60 day trial.
