NVIDIA Samsung Motorola According to Electricpig, there are rumors that the Nvidia Tegra chip which was originally used in the Zune HD, is going to be used in mobile devices. What’s more, the first phones that are going to adopt this chip are apparently going to be Motorola and Samsung.

Reportedly, several of the Top 5 handset vendors have ordered the chip as high performance HD videos and 3D GFX can be produced with the help of this chip without adversely affecting the battery.

Tegra-powered Motorola handsets might help the Motorola company to emerge out of the current difficult situation that they face with their mobile devices.

A Samsung Tegra phone is most probably going to be a hit among users, given how successful the Samsung Jet and Omnia 2 already are with their current hardware.

Hopefully, this rumor will be confirmed very shortly.
