Samsung launches Tocco Lite phone in UK

Samsung Tocco Lite Phone Samsung recently unveiled the Samsung Tocco Lite (S5230) phone in the UK. Keeping in mind the recent economic situation around the world, this phone will be offered at an attractive price.

The new phone uses the company’s TouchWiz user interface and includes few touchscreen shortcuts which provide quick access to Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. The Tocco phone sports a 3 inch touchscreen display with 262K colors and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

This Samsung phone lets users tag photos of their contacts as well as upload them to their favorite social networking sites. It comes with a built-in accelerometer with the ability to rotate the images and screen accordingly.

Talking about entertainment, the Tocco phone features a FM radio that should keep users in tune with the latest hits. The company claims that the music listening experience has been improved with the integration of Samsung DNSe 2.0 technology.

Additionally, the phone includes 50MB of internal memory and supports expansion upto 8GB via a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Tocco phone will hit the shelves in UK by mid May. However, there is no word on its price as yet.
