Motorola India and Pressmart Media Limited have teamed up together to bring the live news-on-the-mobile service on mobile phones. This service is compatible with the Motorola phones namely MOTO VE66, MOTOSURF A300 and MOTOROKR EM35.

Pressmart brings a simple way for users to access the service and get live news on their mobile phones. The service also allows users to access their favorite newspapers like the Asian Age, the Financial Express and Deccan Chronicle even while on the go.

“We are delighted to bring the unique news-on-the-mobile service to the information-seeking Indian for whom news is an integral part of everyday life,” explains Faisal Siddiqui, head of India Operations, Motorola Mobile Devices. “New applications on Motorola mobile phones are driven out of our desire to anticipate and fulfill Indian consumers’ needs and aspirations.”

Taking complete advantage of service, users can now utilize their precious time efficiently. The service will also keep users updated about current affairs thus helping them to enhance their general knowledge. To access the service, a mobile phone with GPRS connection is required.
