A new user interface has been developed for GSmart Windows Mobile Smartphones called SmartTouch, by Gigabyte. This thumb friendly UI looks very flexible. Though somewhere it looks as though it is highly “inspired” by Apple.
With this Smart Touch users can add around 16 frequently used applications. Four icons are available at a time and the centre of the screen has a clock. The screen also has an icon which helps in quick access to the user’s Today screen. Users can create and delete shortcuts by dragging the icon on ‘Activate’ and ‘Trash’ respectively. The look and feel of the Smart Touch can be customized by the user by changing the color, theme and they can also use their own image for background.
Smart Touch’s Chinese version has been accidentally leaked according to GSmart. Those illegal versions, already available to download from many websites will not work fully due to some security features.
But this GSmart’s UI will be seen only after May, after the company officially launches it. Users can then experience this amazing user interface.
