After a very long wait and confusion, finally T-Mobile seems to be going the 3G path by May. It is rumored that T-Mobile will kick off with the 3G connectivity starting from one city and will cover other cities gradually.
The first city to expect T-Mobile’s 3G connectivity would be the Big Apple, i.e. New York City and it will spread to other cities of the US too. As per TmoNews.com, T-Mobile has revealed this news and will make a formal announcement by next week.
The exact dates for the rollout have not been disclosed as yet. Probably a formal announcement could give a better clarity on this matter. The cities that T-mobile plans to cover with a blanket of 3G are New York City, Austin, NJ and Long Island, Las Vagas, Minneapolis, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Denver, Detroit, Orlando, Kansas city, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New England, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Washington DC, San Francisco, Birmingham, Memphis, Tampa and Phoenix.
