Airis T482 unveils its GPS features in France

Airis T482 GPS Phone Airis gets set to display is GPS enabled Airis T482 mobile phone to the French. The sleek phone with its wide screen is available either with GPS or without GPS.

The Airis T482 features a 3.2″ QVGA screen with a 2MP shooter and to store in more memory, there’s a memory card slot available. To receive GPS signal, the Airis T482 uses SiRFStar III chip. To add in more features the phone has WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity and FM Tuner.

The attractive black mobile phone works on a quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS and EDGE, runs fast and efficiently on a Marvell PXA270 processor at 416MHz and there’s also a second processor called Philips Grangonfly SS6120 for best quality performance. The Airis T482 packs in a 128MB of ROM and 64MB of RAM and a battery life of 250 hours in standby-PDA mode, 4 hours in GSM mode.

The Airis T482 without GPS costs 400 € and the GPS enabled which accesses France maps is priced at 424 € and the if you want to access maps all over Europe, the Airis T482 will cost 478 €.
