Samsung Access Phone Leading Mobile network operator, AT&T announced the availability of Mobile TV and ten channels on their 2 new phones which will be available in May 2008.

The ten channels that AT&T will telecast are CBS, Comedy Central, ESPN, FOX, MTV, NBC, NBC News, Nickelodeon and 2 Exclusive AT&T channels. AT&T Mobile TV will use the Qualcomm’s MediaFLO system which is used by Verizon Wireless. Since the technology used is the same by Verizon and AT&T, the price and quality is expected to be the same, Verizon charges around $15/month for the Mobile TV access, so we should expect similar pricing rules with AT&T as well.

The 2 AT&T phones that will display Mobile TV will be Samsung Access and LG Vu. The Samsung Access and LG Vu phones have a 2.3-inch and 2.8-inch screen size respectively.

There is no official announcement of the phone pricing or the exact launch date; however AT&T gears up this new feature with all excitement and enthusiasm.
