Spice Handset gets Internet via Opera Software

Spice logo Mobile phones offer entertainment with web surfing features for users to operate their device and access all the possible functions they can think of while on the go. Spice mobile phones, thus adds internet browsing capabilities.

Spice Mobiles has announced their partnership with Opera Software to provide a better browsing experience to their consumers. Called Opera Mini, the mobile browser will be used as the Web browser on the upcoming mobile phones from Spice Mobile in India.

The GPRS & Java enabled phones ensures a rich surfing of websites, eliminating the burden about the size and look of websites as Opera Mini automatically personalizes them, depending on the phone.

Kunal Ahooja, CEO, Spice Mobiles Ltd, commented “With mobile convergence taking place, the mobile world is going closer to ‘application on demand’ scenario as against rich features that were hitherto available only on the high-end phones. With this application, Spice Mobile also intends to add more value to the consumer’s life and strengthen its promise of being a people’s brand. He adds, “Through Opera Mini, we will definitely provide a better browsing experience to our customers and add to improved productivity and lifestyle of our mobile consumers”.

Spice Mobile Phones has taken a step further to deliver high-end functions to their owners so that they can enjoy convenient and easy accessibility.

    I think you got the logos wrong. Opera tied up with Spice Mobile, not Spice Telecom. They’re different companies.
