Kingston 19-in-1 Memory Card Media Reader Now Shipping

Kingston 19-in-1 Media Reader Kingston, known for its memory product has rolled out a new 19-in-1 Media Reader. It is an external, hi-speed reader designed to support 19 popular types of Flash memory cards. The company has started shipping this product.

This reader offers perfect solution for tranferring data between Flash cards and a computer or other devices with a USB port as it requires no adapters or power cable.

Nitin Malhotra, Country Manager, Kingston Technology, India, explained, “The new media reader handles so many different card types that it’s ideal for the consumer or business professional who uses multiple card formats to transfer data, music, photos, videos and other files between mobile phones, cameras, PCs and other devices.”

Malhotra further continued, “Its compact size makes it easy to carry while traveling or keeping on the desktop for quick access.”

Dimensions of the reader are 3.61″ x 2.71″ x 0.79″. It also has a USB of 2.0 which offers the transfer data speed of 480Mbps.

Features offered by the new Kingston 19-in-1 Media Reader are:

  • Standardized: complies with USB 2.0 specification standards; backwards compatible with USB 1.1
  • Easy: plug-and-play into any USB 2.0 or 1.1 port
  • The Kingston 19-in-1 Media Reader is compatible with Windows 2000 (SP3 and above), XP (SP1 and above) and Vista, Mac OS (10.x and above).

    The Media Reader comes with a two year warranty for a cost of Rs.995 in India.
