Especially for the texting buffs, Tracfone is planning to unveil the Samsung SGH-T401G. According to IntoMobile, the messaging handset boasts of a numeric keypad as well as a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung mobile phone features a 2.1-inch display that offers 176 x 220 resolution. The low-end handset sports a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder capability. It incorporates stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) and embedded java games.

The dimensions of the Samsung SGH-T401G handset are 4.4″ x 2.0″ x 0.7″ and it weighs about 4.34 oz. The QWERTY phone features music player with microSD support. The Samsung mobile phone features one-touch messaging shortcut key, web browser and quick search functionalities, to name a few.

The pricing and the availability details of the Samsung SGH-T401G are not yet made official by TracFone. Along with the Samsung SGH-T401G, rumor mills also state that one more Samsung handset is expected to hit the stores in a short while. The other mobile phone may be the Samsung Trill SCH-R520, a CDMA slider, which is most likely to be launched by US Cellular for its US subscribers.
