Samsung Rogue U960 and Intensity U450 now available through Verizon Wireless

Verizon Samsung Rogue Intensity Finally, Verizon Wireless is offering the Samsung Rogue U960 and Intensity U450. By unveiling the Samsung devices today, the network carrier has kept its word.

The specifications of both these devices are not surprising. The Samsung Rogue U960 is claimed to be the first device that features AMOLED display, reports IntoMobile. Predecessor of the Glyde, the U960 packages a 3 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, touchscreen, GPS, and a microSD card slot. Reportedly, the Samsung handset supports V CAST Music/Video and VZ Navigator.

For consumers who wish to buy a low-end handset, Verizon Wireless presents the Samsung Intensity U450. The mobile phone features a 1.3 megapixel camera along with a 176 × 220 pixels screen resolution. Similar to the U960, even the U450 is equipped with microSD expansion slot, GPS capability, V CAST Music and VZ Navigator. The device is offered in Flamingo Red and Grey colors.

With a two-year contract, Verizon retails the Rogue for $99 after a $100 rebate. However with a one year contract, the U960 can be purchased for $169.99 after rebate or for $419.99 without any contract. The handset requires an add-on data package which starts from $10.

Apparently, the U450 Flamingo Red model is offered for free after a $79.99 rebate and a two-year contract. The Samsung Intensity is retailed for $99.99 after a $50 rebate and one year contract while at $199.99 for full retail.
