Android driven Philips V900 spotted

Philips V900 China MobileSeveral Android powered handsets are available in the market, and to add to this collection China Mobile is now introducing the Philips V900, based on Android or China Mobile’s OMS (Open Mobile System), to be more precise.

After the recent Dell smartphone’s disappointment, Chinese mobile lovers can now lay their hands on the latest Android device and rejoice. According to mobile.163, the Philips V900 packages the Chinese version of Wi-Fi known as WAPI.

Reportedly, the Android driven device also incorporates a 3.5mm headphone jack and sports a 3.2 megapixel camera. The mobile phone is equipped with a 1450 mAh battery. Apparently, the Philips V900 interface vaguely bears resemblance with the iPhone.

Neither the release date nor the pricing details of the Philips V900 are disclosed. However, it is believed that the Philips mobile phone will soon hit the Chinese markets. There’s still a doubt whether the V900 would be made available outside China.

More specifications of the mobile phone are still to be unveiled, so stay tuned to catch the latest updates.
