If a new rumor is to be believed, then get ready for the release of three new Apple iPhone 2015 models, one with a 6S and another with a 6S Plus in their monikers as well as a 4-inch device touted to be called a 6C class. The 6S series will apparently have a higher end A9 processor, while the smaller handset with the 6C designation should be available at lower price.

The three Apple smartphones may come equipped with ‘6’ series features like NFC, Touch ID fingerprint recognition, LTPS touchscreens and Gorilla Glass protection. If the stories are true, then the 4.7-inch 6S and 5.5-inch 6S Plus models expected speculated to run on A9 chips. As a budget level handheld, the 6C device might work on the current generation A8 system-on-chip silicon.

Apple has allegedly initiated the iPhone 6C class as a fresher rendition of the low end iPhone 5C released earlier in 2013. Going by an AppleInsider post, the company may have revisited the 4-inch model market to lower manufacturing costs and stay in the budget smartphone arena. This segment very important to all mobile brands, large or small.

iPhone enthusiasts interested in smaller sized 4-inch models will be pleased with the news of the 6C variant release and it will also appeal to cost conscious consumers. The larger iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with rumors of a A9 chip inside, should also garner interest as they will follow on the success of the latest 6 series of Apple devices.
