Palm in collaboration with ace designer Don Ed Hardy is all set to create a custom bejeweled Centro phone exclusively for the presenters gift lounge at the upcoming Primetime Emmy Awards.
California native Don Ed Hardy is a painter, printmaker and owns a legendary status as a tattoo artist.
A Palm post by John Ziber mentioned, “Not only can you check out more images of these bejeweled Centros (they’re hella-blingy, according to my daughter), but you can also catch up on celebrity Centro sightings, get advance word about upcoming Palm events and promotions, take in a video or two, join the discussion, and more.”
A hit with budget conscious consumers, the $100 Centro smartphone will now land up in the hands of a few celebrities. The shiny phone is part of a swag that is gearing up to bling out a number of hosts, presenters and performers including Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria Parker. These celebs are part of the guests who are expected to adorn the backstage gift lounge.
Custom creations minus a price tag, these Ed Hardy designed Centros will not be available to the general public. So all you can do is keep you eyes open for the appearance of these shiny fellows at the Emmy awards, unless you are lucky enough to routinely brush up against some celebrity.
