Orange LG GD910 watchphone demo clip released

LG GD910 Watchphone The LG GD910 has already been spotted quite a few times prior to its August release in the UK. Recently, according to SlashGear, UK carrier Orange has released a demo clip of the wrist-phone.

The video displays GD910’s video chat capabilities quite clearly. It is amazing that two-way video calling is possible on such a small device. The audio output sounds sort of metallic and there was one hiccup in the video stream.

Initial speculation about the pricing of the phone placed it at around £1,000 which is $1,623 for an unsubsidized pre-pay contract. Furthermore, apparently LG will have limited supplies of the GD910, making it even more exclusive. These factors could keep the watchphone out of bounds of most potential buyers.

The watchphone will sport a 1.43-inch capacitive touchscreen. It will be 3G enabled and will pack in video-calling capabilities and Bluetooth headset. Additionally, there will be a front-facing video camera.

Orange has announced that there will be at least three phones launched this year.

There is no information about the exact release date of the LG GD910.
