The newly launched Lava Iris 500 is sure to grab a large number of eyeballs owing to the fact that it offers a 5-inch display at a price of just Rs 5499. This dual SIM phone supports WCDMA as well as GSM networks, and comes equipped with a range of unique software features.

They include smart answering, direct calling, flip to mute, call recorder and more. These have been added over and above the Android 4.4 KitKat OS that powers the handset from within.

The 5-inch touchscreen display of the Iris 500 features an FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. While there’s a 1.3GHz dual core processor onboard as well, a mere 512MB worth of RAM has strangely been granted to it.

Fueling the whole setup is a 1800mAh power pack.
