The Jivi JSP 20 handset is up for pre-booking in two color choices of black and white. The actual release date of this Firefox phone rival is set for September 25. Obviously, we wouldn’t put too much confidence in a handset which sells at such a low price, though it should work as a backup option or as anyone’s first experience with Android.
As Jivi wished to keep the price of the smartphone so low, you have to expect low-end features too. The device chugs along on the very outdated Android Gingerbread OS and merely 128MB of RAM. The available memory space may be just 256MB, but you have an option to slip a 32GB mciroSD card into the provided slot.

The JSP 20 phone lends support to English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and French languages. It is also capable of connecting you to Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube. Potential buyers may be pleasantly surprised to find out that the basic 2MP camera on the back is accompanied by a flash unit.
