We finally have the much talked about Android One smartphones in our midst, and Karbonn Sparkle V is one of the three such devices that were unveiled today at an event hosted by none other than Google. What’s exciting is that the smartphone is already available for purchase through Snapdeal at Rs 6399.
At the moment, the said e-retailer will be your only choice if you wish to buy the device. But this is going to change during Diwali, as that’s when Karbonn as well as Micromax and Spice will start selling their Android One smartphones through traditional retail stores. A price drop can also be expected to arrive during that period.
The Karbonn Sparkle V handset, along with the other two Android One gadgets will receive quick software updates whenever they are out. They have been built using guidelines set by Google to provide the optimal Android experience at very low price points.

All three handsets that have been launched under the program will receive special benefits if paired with Airtel SIMs. These consist of free over-the-air updates and 200MB of data for app downloads through the Play store for the first six months.
