The oddly named Oppo N1 mini was bound to hit India sooner than later and the company has confirmed the news through a tweet or two on its official Twitter account. At first, we were only told that it was coming soon without being given any information on the exact release date.
In a tweet posted by Oppo more recently, fans are being warned in advance about the ‘little’ handset arriving within a week’s time. The company is even telling us about the color options in which the device will be available and these include three choices of white, blue and yellow.
The Oppo N1 mini phone should technically be a less powerful version of its larger variant judging by its moniker. But it’s not really getting a lesser deal considering the largish 5-inch touchscreen spread across its front and the 2GB of RAM you’ll find inside it.
The N1 mini features the same 13MP rotating lens as its larger sibling and while some might call it a marketing gimmick, we don’t see why just having a single good quality camera is unreasonable on a smartphone. The snapper makes a noteworthy statement with a Sony 6-element lens powering it and a Super Zoom mode to click photos at 24MP.
Three cheers for new colors! Get ready to welcome the ‘little master’ within a week. pic.twitter.com/m9t21q4v7B
