Moto G purchase attractively cheaper because of buyback offer

It was as if the Google-Motorola Moto G wasn’t selling like hot cakes already that Flipkart had to make it Rs 2000 cheaper on an attractive buyback offer. The 16GB and 8GB devices will now have their prices shaved down from Rs 13999 to Rs 11999 and from Rs 12499 to Rs 10499, respectively.

But it’s not going to be a simple discount of Rs 2000. You will have to trade in your old phone by filling up the Exchange Offer form which pops up when you choose which Moto G it is that you want to purchase. You will need to provide the brand and model you intend to sacrifice for the new one.

The 12 manufacturers whose handsets are being accepted in this trade-in deal cover Samsung, Nokia, BlackBerry, Apple, HTC, Micromax, Lava, Karbonn, Lenovo, Motorola, Xolo and Sony. The IMEI number of your device will also be required. You can find this information by dialing *#06# on your phone.

The Moto G has seen some insane demand in India since its launch. It’s possible that the rush to grab it has slowed down since the recent release of the Moto X in India. We’re not going assume the same since the new phone is more expensive with its Rs 23999 price tag and we’re not sure if anyone would be confused about which one they prefer.
