Nokia E71 Phone arrives in USA

Nokia E71 Phone Nokia launched its much awaited handset E71 on the 29th of July. This smart phone poses a grave threat to the Apple iPhone and is considered by many to be a worthy competitor. Though the glaring absence of a touchscreen is immediately noticed, it does not hamper the phone’s appeal in any way especially since it has a variety of other features.

This remarkably sleek device with a convenient QWERTY keyboard is both elegant and practical at the same time. Its large screen and smart stainless steel body add to the phone’s physical appeal. Apart from features such as GPS and WiFi, E71 is also equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera that can take videos as well. The phone also functions as a navigation device when the preloaded Nokia Maps 2.0 software is used.

The two separate customized screens enable users to maintain both their personal and professional lives. They can switch between the business and personal modes on their phone with just one touch. Other features include simultaneous access to contacts, to-do lists and calendar information. Users can not only check enterprise-grade email but consumer email services as well, since the E71 supports both. The phone comes with an in-built memory and the external microSD slot that enables an expansion of up to 8GB.

The E71 is priced at $500 and can be obtained from all Nokia flagship stores in Chicago and New York.
